The company was founded in 1888. The building of the Meiji era has not changed since the establishment. When the company was founded, there were about 50 craftsmen working in the factory, and this helped to create an era of Echizen Washi. The “Mitsumata Kyokushi” paper (glossy, high-grade paper used for certificates and other documents) developed at the time was awarded at the Paris Exposition. Utilizing these techniques, the shop now produces Japanese paper business cards and cards.
