The pottery was founded in 1914 and has been producing ornaments every day for over 100 years. Its current mainstay products are lucky charms such as maneki neko and owl. Other seasonal products such as zodiac ornaments and Hina dolls are also produced, and in recent years, a wide variety of substrates such as those for character products are being produced to meet modern demands. In addition, the company is also experimenting with creating arts and crafts with local artists using old hand-made molds made from the Taisho era to the early Showa era when the company was founded.
