Issho

Founded in 1863, Issho is operated by Maruhachi Seichajo, a company that manufactures and sells a local variety of roasted tea called Kaga bocha (twig tea). The café serves the company’s signature Kenjo Kaga Bocha (“Kaga Bocha for the Emperor”) made from only the finest tea stems. Visitors can opt instead for their preferred flavor of hojicha (roasted green tea) from a selection of varieties and roasts.
