Yasuda uses an advanced Venetian glassblowing technique to shape pliable molten glass into the intricate patterns that are the hallmark of his work. The steps in this technique are usually divided between multiple craftspeople, but Yasuda handles the entire process himself. His works range from fine art for exhibitions to glassware for dining and drinking. His creations are on display at the Taizo Glass Gallery in Iwase. One of the works on view is a large vessel Yasuda created when he was injured and unable to blow glass. It is comprised of stacks of glass rods that are the base material for glassblowing, presenting a graceful, soft expression that is striking in its color and brilliance.
